Khurana and Khurana acted as the IP Counsel for Clensta on its recent funding round where the Company, a leading D2C personal and home care products startup, raised Rs. 20 crores in its Series A funding round that was led by Hem Angels, Venture Catalyst along with Inflection Point Ventures.
K&K successfully advised Clensta on IP and Commercial Law issues, during its highest fundraising in the D2C personal and home care space, designed to maximize the value. The company being operated both in B2B and B2B2C segments, is targeting the Indian home care market worth $6.2B. Achieving a remarkable CAGR of over 130%, it aims to earn Rs. 1000 crore revenues in the upcoming 5 years. Following the completion of funding, the IIT Delhi backed start-up has over 30 products in its portfolio which it aims to increase in the next fiscal.
Existing Investors who participated include Venture Catalyst, Inflection Point Ventures, Hem Angels, N+1 Capital (RBF) among other investors.
The funds raised by Clensta will be used in its operation ranging from boosting company’s sales and marketing to expanding its brand’s online and offline presence across India. The primary focus will be on ramping up and developing innovative and sustainable products which co-relates with its expansion of footprints across country.
